Getting something to eat

Lyra walked into the kitchen and smiled at the house elves. "Hello Beannie, can you get me a sandwhich and some milk please?"

"Of course Miss, Beannie would be glad to make you lunch." the little house elf said smiling and went to make her lunch.

Lyra sat down and waited for it to be finished.

"Hello Lyra." Isolde said walking into the kitchen. "What are you doing at school so early? Not many are here yet." Isolde asked taking a cookie from a jar filled with them on the counter.

"Hey Isolde. Had nothing better to do, and I like it here. It's actually peaceful." she said and thanked Beannie for the sandwich and milk.

Alea was walking down the corridor to get to the portrait of the bowl of fruit that lead to the kitchens. Smiling, she tickled the pear and watched as the portrait swung open allowing her in. She saw one of her best mates, Isolde Green there, and a school friend Lyra Vera sitting at the table. "You two couldn't wait until dinner either?" she asked them with a knowing smile. Isolde was always hungry but she never gained a pound due to the fact she was always exercising and she knew that Lyra had skipped out on lunch and breakfast so she knew the girl had to be hungry.
